Skilled Migration Visas
First preference (EB-1) – priority workers Aliens with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics; Outstanding professors and researchers; or Certain multinational managers and executives. Second preference (EB-2) – aliens who are members of the professions holding advanced degrees or who have exceptional ability (including requests for national interest waivers). Third preference (EB-3) – skilled workers, professionals, or other workers.
Student Visas
F-1 Student Visa The F-1 Visa (Academic Student) allows you to enter the United States as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school, or other academic institution or in a language training program. You must be enrolled in a program or course of study that culminates in a degree, diploma, or certificate and your school must be authorized by the U.S. government to accept international students. M-1 Student Visa The M-1 visa (Vocational Student) category includes students in vocational or other nonacademic programs, other than language training.
Family Visas
First preference (F1) - unmarried sons and daughters (21 years of age and older) of U.S. citizens; Second preference (F2A) - spouses and children (unmarried and under 21 years of age) of lawful permanent residents; Second preference (F2B) - unmarried sons and daughters (21 years of age and older) of lawful permanent residents; Third preference (F3) - married sons and daughters of U.S. citizens; and Fourth preference (F4) - brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens (if the U.S. citizen is 21 years of age and older).
Business Visas
Consulting with business associates. Traveling for a scientific, educational, professional or business convention, or a conference on specific dates. Settling an estate. Negotiating a contract. Participating in short-term training. Transiting through the United States: certain persons may transit the United States with a B-1 visa. Deadheading: certain air crewmen may enter the United States as deadhead crew with a B-1 visa.
Investor visas
USCIS administers the EB-5 Program. Under this program, investors (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21) are eligible to apply for a Green Card (permanent residence) if they: Make the necessary investment in a commercial enterprise in the United States; and Plan to create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers. This program is known as EB-5 for the name of the employment-based fifth preference visa that participants receive.
